Mike D’Amato is a founding partner of Portfolio Logic. Prior to forming Portfolio Logic, he was Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, and a member of the Board of Directors of The Corporate Executive Board Company (NASDAQ: EXBD) and The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO). During his tenure with the two companies both undertook Initial Public Offerings and their combined market capitalization rose from $30 million to over $2 billion.
Mike worked for seventeen years at the management consulting firm Bain & Company, where he was a senior partner and member of their Policy Committee. His particular focus at Bain was on strategy development in changing business environments. His clients included small software startups, business to business companies and large multi-national corporations.
Mike received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with honors from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
